About Us
Pike County Emergency Management is a local government agency located in Pike County, Ohio. The agency has a Director appointed by the Pike County Commissioners. The goal of this agency is to address the five areas of emergency management: Prevention, Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery. The Director oversees emergency operational situations that require additional response and/or resources in times of an emergency.
In addition to emergencies, the Director oversees ongoing mitigating projects to ensure the smooth operations of emergency preparedness in a natural disaster or large emergency as well as continuity of local governemnt. In times of an emergency or natural disaster, the Director of Emergency Management coordinates with local, state, and federal partners.
